Monitoring

Bridging the gap between policy makers and policy implementers requires a greater understanding of how human rights policies translate into real world solutions. In conjunction with research, the Center will study and report on how the human rights agenda manifests itself in the field, in an effort to promote this agenda in its practical application. Monitoring activities will include:

· Analysis and monitoring of developing regulations – based on the research above, proposed regulations would be monitored and recommendations made supporting improved responses to human rights. 

· Publicizing efforts in design and in policy to promote human rights through design. 

· Collecting data and case studies that promote and exemplify the relationship between human rights and the design of the built environment.
